Dampak depresi postpartum terhadap kualitas serta kuantitas ASI yang dihasilkan ibu: scoping review
Abstract
Latar Belakang : Masih banyak ibu yang mengalami depresi postpartum tidak mau menyusui anaknya, hal ini dikarenakan banyak ibu yang merasa kuantitas ASInya tidak memenuhi kebutuhan anaknya sehingga ibu merasa anaknya tidak akan kenyang. Penelitian scoping review mengenai kualitas dan kuantitas ASI yang dihasilkan oleh ibu dengan depresi postpartum masih tidak terlalu banyak ditemukan, banyak penelitian yang ditemukan hanya membahas mengenai produksi ASI pada ibu yang mengalami depresi. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak depresi post partum terhadap kualitas serta kuantitas ASI. Metode : studi literatur ini menggunakan pendekatan scoping review yang diadaptasi dengan PRISMA-ScR checklist, menggunakan framework PEO’s yaitu “effects of postpartum depression and milk production”,“breastfeeding for depressed mothers”,“relationship between postpartum depression and breastfeeding”. Terdapat empat database yang digunakan yaitu science direct, pubmed, proquest, google scholar. Kemudian dilakukan seleksi data dilakukan menggunakan prisma flowchart dan critical appraisal menggunakan Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal tool. Hasil: berdasarkan dari 229 artikel hasil pencarian diperoleh 10 artikel yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian dan dapat dimasukkan dalam scoping review. Penelitian tersebut berasal dari beberapa negara yaitu satu artikel merupakan hasil penelitian di negara Finlandia, Turki, Belanda, Pakistan Polandia, Indonesia dan California. Didapatkan 3 tema dari hasil pemetaan yaitu keadaan dan psikologis Ibu, kandungan dan volume ASI, dukungan dan dampak pada bayi. Simpulan : ibu yang mengalami depresi postpartum sebenarnya memiliki kuantitas ASI yang cukup untuk anaknya, namun memang terdapat sedikit perbedaan dalam komposisi ASI pada ibu dengan depresi dan tidak mengalami depresi. Akan tetapi hal tersebut tetap tidak mengurangi volume ASI ibu.
